Our domes are manufactured using quality polycarbonate sheets that have a high degree of fire resistance. They are classified according to TS EN ISO 13501-1 as B-s1, d0 - one of the leading international fire safety standards.
B = Very limited contribution to fire (excellent fire behaviour)
s1 = Very little smoke produced (safer in a fire)
d0 = No flaming droplets or particles (reduces the chance of fire spreading)
This indicates that our domes assist in protecting you by slowing fire spread, produces little smoke, and does not create dangerous flaming droplets - giving you peace of mind and reliable safety in any situation.

We design and manufacture our polycarbonate domes to provide a range of light transmittance options for your ideal combination of light, natural light and privacy upon creating your space. Our material conforms to TS EN ISO 13468-1 and has been tested to provide:
Transparent - (89%) with maximum natural light that supports seeing, brightness and openness of the room
Opal White - (30%) privacy with soft diffusion of light to create a calm, shaded space
Bronze - (25%) is less light transmission and provides more options for shade, adds a beautiful brushed bronze look to your space while still providing natural light

Exceptional Impact Resistance
MSK Domes are crafted from solid polycarbonate which is an exceptionally strong material. It offers over 270 Nm impact resistance, which is significantly stronger than glass or acrylic. This level of strength means that our domes can resist heavy impacts, extreme weather conditions and very harsh environments and offer you protection for years and years.
Processing
POLYBRIGHT™ 2mm Solid Polycarbonate™ sheet is suitable for cold bending and thermoforming. To reach optimal results the materials need to be heated with sandwich type heating systems to reach uniform heat uptake. For thermoforming, Pre-drying of this material is necessary. Pre drying at 100°C for an half hours / 8mm thickness POLYBRIGHT™ Solid Polycarbonate™ sheet has a processing window between 160 and 200°C. When forming, a draft angle of 3 degrees should be allowed. Post mould shrinkage is dependent on tool temperature and environmental circumstances but will typically be in the range of 0.5–0.9%.

Our company's products show high durability by absorbing harmful rays from the sun with UV resistance in a total of 2 layers, including 50-micron front and 50-micron inner surface application.

MSK Dome offers a 5-year limited warranty on all our Polycarbonate sheet products against yellowing caused by sunlight.
